Jakarta, 21 September 2026 &ndash; PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (&ldquo;EMTEK&rdquo;) continues to strengthen workplace safety and organizational resilience through a Disaster Preparedness Training facilitated by the Regional Disaster Management Agency of DKI Jakarta (&ldquo;BPBD DKI Jakarta&rdquo;) on 18 September 2026 at SCTV Tower, Jakarta. The session was facilitated by Ichwan, Head of the Central Jakarta BPBD Task Force, together with Randiansyah and M. Rizqulloh from the Central Jakarta Rapid Response Team (Tim Reaksi Cepat/TRC).
"With guidance from the experts at BPBD DKI Jakarta, we hope all EMTEK colleagues can understand what needs to be done if a disaster occurs. Ultimately, we are committed to ensuring EMTEK high rise officebuilding complies with all applicable regulations and of utmost importance are the awareness and prepareness of all EMTEK employees and members to understand what to do in the event of disasters, fire, flooding, earthquake, etc. when in workplace to ensure their safety and wellbeing," said Yusup Santosa, SVP General Services &amp; Procurement of EMTEK.
BPBD DKI Jakarta opened with the city's exposure to seismic hazards. While Jakarta has no recorded shallow earthquake source of its own, it remains exposed to ground shaking from the Sunda Strait megathrust, intraslab earthquakes, and active faults in West Java, including the Lembang, Cimandiri, and Baribis faults. BPBD also identifies areas potentially vulnerable to post-earthquake liquefaction across North, Central and West Jakarta, and smaller parts of East and South Jakarta.
Officers compared earthquakes of similar magnitude and depth that resulted in markedly different casualty figures, underscoring the value of preparedness. The materials also use the 1995 Kobe earthquake to illustrate the importance of immediate help from people nearby.
From Awareness to Practice
Participants were trained on the three phases of earthquake response. Preparation covered emergency bags, securing office fixtures, and identifying evacuation routes and assembly points. During shaking, participants practiced the Drop, Cover, and Hold On technique with emphasis on protecting the head and neck. After shaking stops, the guidance calls for orderly self-evacuation using emergency stairs rather than lifts, followed by a headcount at the assembly point. Floor wardens report their floor&rsquo;s headcount to the floor captain. The session also addressed inclusive evacuation, with specific guidance on assisting colleagues with physical, visual, hearing, and intellectual disabilities. BPBD emphasized asking permission before assisting and adapting communication and physical support to each person&rsquo;s needs.
&ldquo;Our advice for office workers is straightforward: when an earthquake occurs, follow the instructions of your floor captain, who accounts for everyone's safety during evacuation. Employees should also understand the basic response &mdash; Drop, Cover, and Hold On. We have socialized these fundamentals across nearly all of Jakarta so that employees are increasingly prepared to face disasters, in line with our motto: Ready to Survive,&rdquo; said Ichwan, Task Force Chief (Kasatgas) of BPBD Central Jakarta.
The training included a simulation of protective actions and orderly evacuation under BPBD&rsquo;s guidance.
By strengthening employee knowledge and preparedness, EMTEK seeks to support a safer and more resilient workplace. The initiative reflects the importance of integrating employee safety, emergency preparedness, and risk awareness into responsible business practices, while strengthening the organization&rsquo;s readiness to respond effectively to potential disruptions.

EMTEK_Legal_Group_Gathering_2026_Media_Release_en.pdf

EMTEK_Legal_Group_Gathering_2026_Media_Release_id.pdf

Jakarta, 17 September 2026 - Change in business often moves faster than the answers. Technology continues to reshape how works are created, used and developed. Business models evolve, while regulations and market practices move with them. For Legal, this changing landscape brings increasingly diverse questions and the answers cannot always be found simply by reading the rules.
This was the spirit behind the EMTEK Group Legal Gathering 2026, which brought together more than 100 Legal professionals from companies and business lines across EMTEK Group, spanning media and entertainment, technology and digital, healthcare, financial services, as well as other businesses and investments.
Under the theme &ldquo;Navigating a Changing Landscape: From Copyright, Commercial Risks and Compliance to the Evolving Dynamics of IPOs, Free Float and Insider Trading,&rdquo; this year&rsquo;s Legal Gathering invited participants to explore two very different worlds facing a common challenge: how the law remains relevant as business and practice continue to evolve.
The journey began in the creative and entertainment industries with Dr. Justisiari P. Kusumah, S.H., M.H., Managing Partner of K&amp;K Advocates, in a session titled &ldquo;Examining the Copyright Bill: Commercial Implications, Legal Risks, Enforcement Challenges and Compliance Strategies for Businesses.&rdquo;
Copyright was explored beyond the rules governing ownership and protection of creative works. Participants examined what happens when creative works meet commercial interests: how regulatory developments may affect business, how works can be protected while continuing to be commercially utilized, the practical challenges of proving and enforcing rights, and the considerations companies face when deciding how to respond to potential infringement. This is where law meets business reality and the challenges encountered on the ground.
From the creative industries, the conversation moved to the capital markets with Juwita Lestari in a session titled &ldquo;IPO, Free Float and Insider Trading: Understanding Market Practice and the Evolving Dynamics of the Capital Markets.&rdquo;
IPO, Free Float and Insider Trading were likewise considered beyond the regulatory framework. A company&rsquo;s journey to and within the capital markets involves business dynamics, governance, information management and decisions that must be made in practice. As a company becomes more open to the public, its responsibility to preserve transparency, integrity and the trust of investors, shareholders, regulators and the public becomes even greater.
The two sessions took participants into different areas, yet ultimately arrived at the same question: amid change, where should Legal stand?
Legal must understand the business. It needs to know where the company wants to go, recognize the risks along the way, and help find a path that allows the business to continue growing. Yet as interests become more diverse and decisions more complex, Legal must remain a compass not to determine the destination, but to provide a trusted sense of direction throughout the journey.
Being a compass means finding a way forward without losing direction. At times, Legal must develop creative and practical solutions to support business needs; at other times, it must have the clarity to recognize what is right, the courage to speak when something is not, and the steadfastness to uphold principles even in the face of pressure and challenges.
This is where excellence, wisdom, integrity and trust find their meaning not merely as values to be stated, but as qualities reflected in the work performed, the judgment exercised, the decisions made and the principles upheld, even when circumstances are not easy.
Through the EMTEK Group Legal Gathering 2026, experiences from across different business lines came together, perspectives were shared, and legal issues were brought closer to the business realities encountered every day.
Ultimately, the role of Legal is not only to help a company understand what can be done, but also to exercise the wisdom to see what is right to do.
Business will continue to move and the landscape will continue to change. Legal must move with the business helping find a path forward, while remaining the compass that keeps the company from losing its direction and the principles that guide it.

ENG-EMTEK-Strengthens-ESG-Performance-vs2.pdf

IND-EMTEK-Strengthens-ESG-Performance.pdf

Jakarta, 9 September 2026 &ndash; PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (&ldquo;EMTEK&rdquo;) continues to strengthen its Environmental, Social, and Governance (&ldquo;ESG&rdquo;) performance, as reflected in improved scores from internationally and regionally recognized assessments and its continued inclusion in prominent sustainability and capital market indices.
These achievements reflect EMTEK&rsquo;s consistent efforts to embed sustainability and sound corporate governance into its business strategy, while continuing to create long-term value for shareholders and other stakeholders.
&ldquo;These results reflect our continued efforts to strengthen ESG integration, transparency, and accountability across the EMTEK Group. We recognize that sustainability is a continuous journey, and we remain focused on translating our commitments into responsible business practices that reinforce long-term resilience and create value for our stakeholders,&rdquo; said Titi Maria Rusli, Director &amp; ESG Committee Chairwoman of EMTEK.
Continued Progress in the S&amp;P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment
EMTEK achieved a CSA Score of 66/100, up from 62/100 in 2025. The result reflects EMTEK&rsquo;s efforts to strengthen its management of material environmental, social, and governance matters as part of its long-term business strategy.
The S&amp;P Global CSA evaluates companies&rsquo; performance on financially material sustainability factors, providing insight into how they manage sustainability-related risks and opportunities. EMTEK&rsquo;s result demonstrates progress in strengthening sustainability practices, disclosure, accountability, and ESG integration across the Group.
Raising the Standard of Corporate Governance
EMTEK achieved a score of 108.94 points under the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (&ldquo;ACGS&rdquo;), compared with 105.42 points in 2025, while maintaining its Level 5 &ndash; &ldquo;Leadership in Corporate Governance&rdquo; designation.
The achievement demonstrates the Company&rsquo;s continued progress in implementing strong corporate governance practices. For EMTEK, good corporate governance goes beyond compliance: it is an important foundation for maintaining stakeholder trust, strengthening accountability, managing risks responsibly, and supporting sustainable growth.
Recognition in Sustainability and Capital Market Indices
At the national level, EMTEK remains a constituent of three ESG-focused indices developed by Yayasan KEHATI in collaboration with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (&ldquo;IDX&rdquo;) for the June&ndash;November 2026 period:
<ol>
<li>SRI-KEHATI Index</li>
<li>ESG Sector Leaders IDX KEHATI Index</li>
<li>ESG Quality 45 IDX KEHATI Index</li>
</ol>
The three indices apply complementary sustainability and investment criteria. The SRI-KEHATI Index comprises companies assessed against sustainable and responsible investment principles; the ESG Sector Leaders IDX KEHATI Index identifies companies with relatively strong ESG performance within their respective sectors; and the ESG Quality 45 IDX KEHATI Index considers ESG performance alongside financial quality and liquidity.
EMTEK&rsquo;s continued inclusion in these indices reflects recognition of the Company&rsquo;s sustainability practices and provides an additional reference for investors who incorporate ESG considerations into their investment decisions.
Continued Inclusion in the MSCI Indonesia Small Cap Index
As of 31 August 2026, EMTEK remains a constituent of the MSCI Indonesia Small Cap Index.
The MSCI Indonesia Small Cap Index is designed to measure the performance of the small-cap segment of the Indonesian equity market and is used as a reference by global investors assessing investment opportunities in Indonesia. EMTEK&rsquo;s continued inclusion supports the Company&rsquo;s visibility among domestic and international investors.
For EMTEK, these achievements are milestones in an ongoing journey of improvement. As the Group continues to grow and evolve, EMTEK remains committed to strengthening ESG integration, enhancing transparency and accountability, and advancing responsible business practices across its operations.
By maintaining its ESG momentum and continuing to raise the bar, EMTEK aims to build a more resilient business and create sustainable value for shareholders, employees, business partners, communities, and other stakeholders. For further information, please contact:

[EN]-Press-Release---Sexual-Harassment-Prevention-and-Safe-Workplace-Maintenance.pdf

[ID]-Press-Release---Sexual-Harassment-Prevention-and-Safe-Workplace-Maintenance.pdf

Jakarta, 19 August 2026 &ndash; PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (IDX: EMTK, &ldquo;EMTEK&rdquo;) continues to strengthen its efforts to create a safe, inclusive, and mutually respectful work environment through an educational session titled &ldquo;Prevention &amp; Handling of Violence and Sexual Harassment in the Workplace&rdquo; as part of the Emteractive 2026 series held under the theme: &ldquo;Think Secure, Act with Respect&rdquo;, held on the 19th floor of the SCTV Tower in Jakarta. This event was led by EMTEK's Anti-Sexual Harassment Task Force (SATGAS PPKS) to enhance employees&rsquo; understanding of the forms of sexual violence and harassment, legal aspects, and steps for prevention and handling.
EMTEK established SATGAS PPKS on 14 July 2023, and this is part of EMTEK&rsquo;s commitment to strengthening prevention of sexual harassment by upholding proactive prevention through regular training, safe and confidential reporting channels, and a work culture that upholds human rights and accountability.
Legal Basis
This session emphasized the importance of inclusive workplace safety with reference to Law on Sexual Violence Crimes No. 12 of 2022 (UU TPKS) and Minister of Manpower Decree No. 88 of 2023 on Guidelines for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in the Workplace. These regulations define forms of harassment (physical, non-physical, digital), corporate obligations, and protections for victims.
Victim-Centered Prevention and Response Procedures
EMTEK implements mechanisms that include:
<ul>
<li>Reporting &mdash; Victims and witnesses may file reports through the SATGAS PPKS or the company&rsquo;s official channels.</li>
<li>Investigation &mdash; Every report is followed up with an investigation that is prompt, fair to all parties, and conducted with strict confidentiality.</li>
<li>Actions and Sanctions &mdash; Disciplinary actions are imposed based on evidence and applicable regulations.</li>
<li>Recovery and Monitoring &mdash; Protection and recovery for victims are integral parts of the handling process, followed by monitoring to ensure a conducive work environment and prevent recurrence.</li>
</ul>
The procedure is carried out with an emphasis on thorough and fair investigations, support and protection for victims, confidentiality, transparency, and protection against retaliation.
Safety in the Workplace &amp; Commitment to Sustainability
Through ongoing education, EMTEK strives to ensure that the prevention of violence and sexual harassment goes beyond simply understanding the rules and becomes an integral part of everyday behavior and workplace culture. A safe work environment requires a commitment from everyone to respect one another, understand boundaries, have the courage to report incidents, and provide support to those in need.
Sexual violence and harassment can impact victims&rsquo; well-being while creating an unsafe work environment for victims, witnesses, and other coworkers. Violence and sexual harassment have no place in a workplace of integrity. Therefore, Emteractive 2026 champions this commitment as a reaffirmation that there is zero tolerance for harassment, no justification for such behavior, and no room for silence. This commitment is part of EMTEK&rsquo;s efforts to build a safe, dignified, and mutually respectful workplace for everyone.
In addition, this session on Emteractive 2026 positions the prevention and handling of sexual violence as a shared responsibility in the workplace, drawing on developments in the national legal framework as well as the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles implemented by EMTEK. These efforts are also aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 5 on Gender Equality and SDG 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth, which promote the creation of a safe, inclusive work environment free from violence and harassment. This commitment is part of the company&rsquo;s efforts to integrate the principles of sustainability and respect for the rights of every individual into its work culture. This initiative is expected to strengthen collective awareness while fostering a work culture based on mutual respect and free from sexual harassment.
Respect for Human Rights
EMTEK respects and upholds human rights across its operations and business activities as an integral part of its responsible business practices. This includes safeguarding the dignity, safety, equality, and fundamental rights of every individual, while maintaining an environment free from harassment. EMTEK puts these principles into practice through concrete measures that protect individuals and ensure that human rights are consistently respected and upheld throughout the organization.

ENG---EMTEK-Marks-43rd-Anniversary-Reaffirming-Purposeful-Growth-updated.pdf

IND---EMTEK-Marks-43rd-Anniversary-Reaffirming-Purposeful-Growth-updated.pdf

Jakarta, 3 August 2026 &ndash; PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (&ldquo;EMTEK&rdquo;) celebrated its 43rd anniversary through a series of activities under the theme &ldquo;Growing with Purpose, Sustaining the Future&rdquo; at Studio 8, SCTV Tower, Senayan City, Jakarta, Indonesia.
The theme reflects EMTEK&rsquo;s belief that growth should be measured not only through business achievements, but also through the company&rsquo;s ability to uphold its values, strengthen synergies and create a positive impact for employees, communities and the environment.
The celebration opened with remarks from Stan Maringka, Independent Commissioner of EMTEK and continued by management remarks from Sutanto Hartono, Managing Director of EMTEK, followed by a ceremonial cake-cutting as an expression of gratitude for the company&rsquo;s 43-year journey. The event also featured special performances by Tasya Allesia, winner of Dangdut Academy 7, and Sheera Ariana, third-place winner of The ICON Indonesia.
In his remarks, Sutanto highlighted that EMTEK&rsquo;s growth had been made possible by the contributions and hard work of its people. When EMTEK conducted its initial public offering in 2010, the company had total assets of Rp4.3 trillion. By 2025, its total assets had exceeded Rp60 trillion, reflecting significant growth over the 15-year period.
&ldquo;As EMTEK enters its 43rd year, we are grateful for the growth and achievements the company has accomplished. These achievements are the result of our collective hard work. Looking ahead, we encourage all EMTEK employees to continue upholding the integrity, values and positive principles established by our founders, while strengthening synergies across the EMTEK ecosystem so that we do not move forward separately, but grow together as one strong force,&rdquo; said Sutanto Hartono, Managing Director of EMTEK.
<h2>Turning Learning into Action</h2>
In line with the anniversary theme, EMTEK brought the spirit of sustainability to life through the Eco-Corner Challenge and the EMTEK Repair &amp; Rewear Station. Both initiatives were designed to encourage employees to adopt more environmentally responsible habits in their daily lives.
Carrying the message &ldquo;From Learning to Action &ndash; A Small Corner, Better Habits, Shared Impact,&rdquo; the Eco-Corner Challenge involved 11 divisions in developing creative workplace corners focused on sustainability, biodiversity and greener habits. The programme built on EMTEK&rsquo;s Urban Biodiversity Experiential Learning Session and Biodiversity Pledge, through which Sustainability Champions representing each division committed to supporting environmental action in the workplace.
&ldquo;Learning should not stop at awareness. It should be translated into action, particularly as we face air-pollution challenges that may affect both our health and urban biodiversity. Through the Eco-Corner Challenge, we invited every division to transform a small workplace corner into something greener, more educational and more meaningful. The corners may be small, but the effort and commitment behind them have been truly inspiring. We hope these Eco-Corners will continue to grow beyond the competition and encourage better habits in our daily work,&rdquo; said Titi Maria Rusli, Director and Corporate Secretary of EMTEK.
During the anniversary celebration, three finalist divisions presented their Eco-Corner concepts before management and employees. The finalists were Accounting, Treasury &amp; Tax with &ldquo;Eco-Mirror&rdquo;; General Affairs with &ldquo;Together We Grow Better: From Green Actions to Greater Impact&rdquo;; and Value-Added Services Division with &ldquo;Eco Club &ndash; Small Change, Big Impact.&rdquo;
Through their presentations and infographics, the finalists shared ideas related to employee well-being, connections with green spaces, energy conservation, plastic reduction, plant-care education and team participation in everyday sustainable practices. Following the presentations, employees participated in a live vote to determine the winner.
EMTEK also introduced the EMTEK Repair &amp; Rewear Station under the message &ldquo;Give Your Clothes a New Life.&rdquo; Conducted in collaboration with a women-led micro/small enterprise, the initiative provided simple clothing repair services, including button and elastic replacement, repairs to minor tears and open seams, as well as basic alterations.
Employees dropped off clean garments in the morning and collected the repaired items later that day. The initiative encouraged employees to extend the useful life of their clothing, reduce textile waste and support a women-led MSME.
Sustainability principles were also incorporated into the event through the use of more environmentally friendly dining utensils. Employees attending the celebration were encouraged to bring their own tumblers to reduce the use of disposable cups and help minimise the waste generated during the event.
Through these initiatives, EMTEK marked its anniversary not only as a moment to reflect on the company&rsquo;s journey, but also as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration and cultivate habits that can create a lasting impact.
The 43rd anniversary celebration reaffirmed that growth and sustainability are closely interconnected. By upholding integrity, strengthening synergies and encouraging the participation of all employees, EMTEK remains committed to growing with purpose and creating sustainable value for all stakeholders.

IND-EMTEK-Luncurkan-Ikrar-Keanekaragaman-Hayati-yang-Terinspirasi-dari-Garuda-for-website-upload.pdf

Jakarta, 21 July 2026 &ndash; PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTEK) has launched a Biodiversity Pledge and appointed Sustainability Champions across participating divisions to encourage practical environmental action in the workplace. Inspired by the conservation of the endangered Javan hawk-eagle (Nisaetus bartelsi), widely regarded as the real-life inspiration behind Indonesia's Garuda Pancasila emblem, the initiative aims to translate biodiversity awareness into everyday workplace actions.
The initiative was introduced during EMTEK Biodiversity Day, held on 9 July 2026 in collaboration with Jagat Satwa Nusantara (JSN) at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). Representatives from participating divisions across EMTEK Holding took part, with participation reaching nearly 40% of the company's workforce. Following the programme, Sustainability Champions representing almost one in five employees were appointed to help promote biodiversity awareness and practical environmental action within their teams.
Participants learned how conservation, research, education and public awareness can work together to protect Indonesia's wildlife and ecosystems. The programme combined interactive biodiversity learning sessions with guided wildlife observations led by the JSN Biodiversity Team.

A Javan hawk-eagle (Nisaetus bartelsi) is presented during an interactive wildlife conservation session led by the JSN Biodiversity Team.
The endangered Javan hawk-eagle, found only on the island of Java, became a central symbol of the programme's conservation message. JSN Taman Burung has successfully bred protected and rare bird species, including the Javan hawk-eagle, Papuan harpy-eagle, and American golden-eagle through its conservation and captive-breeding efforts.
"Environmental pressures in Jakarta remind us why urban biodiversity matters. One important example is the Javan hawk-eagle, an endemic and endangered species associated with Garuda, Indonesia's national emblem," said M. Fardhan Khan, Operational Director of Jagat Satwa Nusantara.
"The successful breeding of this species shows how conservation, research, education and public awareness can work together to help protect Indonesia's wildlife."
EMTEK expressed its appreciation to JSN and its biodiversity team for helping make biodiversity and conservation topics accessible through an engaging, experience-based programme.

<h6>A Papuan Harpy-eagle (right) and An American Golden Eagle (left) are presented during an interactive wildlife conservation session, illustrating the diversity of birds of prey and the role of biodiversity education in strengthening environmental awareness.</h6>
Inspired by the International Day for Biological Diversity, EMTEK Biodiversity Day highlighted the link between biodiversity and environmental challenges faced by urban communities, including air pollution, rising temperatures, declining green spaces and habitat loss.
"Biodiversity is the diversity of life&mdash;plants, animals, microorganisms and ecosystems&mdash;and how they depend on one another," said Titi Maria Rusli, Director of EMTEK and Chair of EMTEK's ESG Committee.
"Indonesia's Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, or Unity in Diversity, reminds us that diversity gives us strength and that we need one another to thrive. The same principle applies in nature. Protecting biodiversity means recognising that the well-being of people, wildlife and ecosystems is interconnected."
Turning Learning into Workplace Action
EMTEK Biodiversity Day concluded with the signing of the EMTEK Biodiversity Pledge by management and representatives from participating divisions. Through the pledge, participants committed to using energy, water and materials responsibly, reducing unnecessary consumption and waste, respecting plants and wildlife, and sharing practical environmental actions within their teams.
Participating division representatives were also appointed as Sustainability Champions to help coordinate sustainability-related communication and encourage practical environmental action across their respective divisions.
"Biodiversity is not just a conservation issue&mdash;it is something employees can support through simple actions in the workplace and at home. Small actions, taken consistently, can create meaningful change," said Grace Tobing, Head of Sustainability at EMTEK.
Following the programme, participating divisions will be encouraged to establish Office Biodiversity and Green Corners and explore other initiatives, including nature-sharing sessions, responsible resource use, waste reduction and personal environmental commitments. Through its collaboration with Jagat Satwa Nusantara, EMTEK aims to bring biodiversity closer to employees&mdash;not only as a wildlife conservation issue, but as a shared responsibility reflected in everyday workplace decisions and actions.

EMTEK Launches Biodiversity Pledge Inspired by Indonesia's Garuda

ENG-EMTEK-Biodiversity-Day-Media-Release.pdf

IND-EMTEK-Biodiversity-Day-Media-Release.pdf

Jakarta, 9 July 2026 &ndash; PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTEK) held EMTEK Biodiversity Day: Urban Biodiversity Experiential Learning at Jagat Satwa Nusantara (&ldquo;JSN&rdquo;), Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (&ldquo;TMII&rdquo;), bringing together employees and division representatives from across EMTEK Group.
Held in recognition of the International Day for Biological Diversity, the programme aimed to simplify urban biodiversity by connecting it with environmental challenges experienced in cities today, including air pollution, rising temperatures, pressure on green spaces and declining wildlife habitats.
Conducted with the JSN Biodiversity Team, the programme combined knowledge sharing and direct observation through birdwatching at JSN Taman Burung, a guided tour of TMII, and visits to JSN Dunia Air Tawar and JSN Dunia Serangga. Participants learned how urban ecosystems support wildlife, strengthen climate resilience and contribute to healthier and more liveable cities.
&ldquo;Biodiversity is the diversity of life&mdash;plants, animals, microorganisms and ecosystems&mdash;and how they depend on one another. Indonesia&rsquo;s Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, or Unity in Diversity, reminds us that diversity gives us strength and that we need one another to thrive. The same principle applies in nature. Protecting biodiversity means recognising that the well-being of people, wildlife and ecosystems is interconnected,&rdquo; said Titi Maria Rusli, EMTEK Director and Chair of EMTEK&rsquo;s ESG Committee.
<h2>Understanding Biodiversity in the City</h2>
During the learning session, participants explored how parks, urban forests, coastlines, mangroves and other green spaces provide food, shelter and breeding areas for wildlife. These ecosystems also help absorb carbon, reduce flooding and urban heat, improve air quality and support public well-being.
Participants observed how birds, insects, reptiles and freshwater species use the green spaces within TMII, reinforcing the message that a liveable city should provide a healthy environment not only for people, but also for other living beings.
&ldquo;Environmental pressures in Jakarta remind us why urban biodiversity matters. One important example is the Javan hawk-eagle, an endemic and endangered species closely associated with Garuda, Indonesia&rsquo;s national emblem. Jagat Satwa Nusantara has successfully bred this species, demonstrating how conservation, research, education and public awareness can work together to protect Indonesia&rsquo;s wildlife,&rdquo; said M. Fardhan Khan, Operational Director of Jagat Satwa Nusantara.
<h2>Turning Learning into Workplace Action</h2>
The programme concluded with the EMTEK Biodiversity Pledge, marked through a ceremonial signing by EMTEK management and representatives from participating divisions. Through the pledge, participants committed to using energy, water and materials responsibly, reducing unnecessary consumption and waste, respecting plants and wildlife, and sharing practical environmental actions within their respective divisions.
The division representatives were also appointed as Sustainability Champions, who will support sustainability-related communication and coordination and help carry the programme&rsquo;s learning forward within their teams.
&ldquo;The purpose of this session was to simplify urban biodiversity and connect it with the environmental challenges our city is facing today. Learning should not end when the session finishes. We want participants to apply what they have learned through small, achievable actions, such as establishing biodiversity corners, utilising plants as natural air-purifying elements&mdash;particularly given Jakarta&rsquo;s air pollution challenges&mdash;reducing waste and making a personal pledge. Small actions, when carried out consistently, can turn awareness into meaningful change,&rdquo; said Grace Tobing, Head of Sustainability at EMTEK.
Following the programme, each participating division will be encouraged to establish an Office Biodiversity and Green Corner and explore other practical initiatives, including desk plants, nature-sharing sessions and personal environmental commitments.
Through EMTEK Biodiversity Day, the Group seeks to strengthen environmental awareness and foster a workplace culture in which biodiversity is reflected in everyday decisions, practical action and shared responsibility.

EMTEK Biodiversity Day: Turning Urban Biodiversity Learning into Practical Workplace Action

ENG-EMTEK-Tree-Planting-for-upload.pdf

IND-EMTEK-Tree-Planting-Media-Release-for-upload.pdf

Sentul, 23 June 2026 &ndash; Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (&ldquo;YPP&rdquo;), the social and environmental arm of the EMTEK Group, initiated a collaborative tree-planting activity in Cijayanti Village, Babakan Madang District, Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia as part of its commitment to environmental conservation.
The activity involved the planting of hundreds of teak seedlings, with representatives of PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (&ldquo;EMTEK&rdquo;), local government officials&mdash;including the Head of Cijayanti Village and members of the local community participating directly in the planting.
The initiative supports environmental conservation and the Government&rsquo;s greening efforts, while encouraging collaboration among businesses, local government, and communities in creating greener and more environmentally resilient surroundings.
Imam Sudjarwo, Chairman of Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih, participated in the activity by planting a teak seedling and highlighted the importance of collective action in protecting the environment.
&ldquo;This teak tree-planting initiative reflects our shared commitment to supporting environmental conservation and the Government&rsquo;s greening efforts. As the trees grow and are properly maintained, they are expected to help strengthen soil stability, reduce surface runoff and the risk of erosion and floods, and contribute to a healthier environment for the surrounding community that may be impacted by climate change,&rdquo; said Imam Sudjarwo.
Teak trees were selected for their durability, extensive root systems, and suitability for long-term planting. As the trees mature, they are expected to strengthen vegetation cover and contribute to carbon absorption. Continued care of the trees, surrounding vegetation, and ground cover will be important to ensure that the initiative delivers lasting environmental benefits.
Grace Tobing, Head of Sustainability at EMTEK, added:
&ldquo;We appreciate YPP for championing this initiative and bringing together colleagues from across the EMTEK Group, the local government, and the surrounding community. Trees planting is an important first step, but its long-term impact will depend on the continued care of the trees and surrounding vegetation. As these teak trees mature, we hope they will support carbon absorption, leading net zero carbon pathway envisaged by Indonesian government by year 2060, and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (13 and 15).&rdquo;
The participation of EMTEK Holding reflects the Group&rsquo;s support for YPP&rsquo;s environmental initiatives and its broader commitment to encouraging environmental awareness and shared responsibility across the EMTEK ecosystem.
Through collaboration among YPP, EMTEK Holding, the local government, and the community, the initiative demonstrates how collective participation can translate environmental commitments into practical action at the local level.

15 June 2026, Jakarta &ndash; PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (&ldquo;EMTEK&rdquo;) received a Certificate of Recognition from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (&ldquo;IDX&rdquo;/&ldquo;BEI&rdquo;) for achieving and sustaining Gender Balance in the Executive Leadership Team throughout the period of 2022&ndash;2025, as recognized in the Census of Women in Executive Leadership in IDX200 Companies.
The recognition was presented during the Census of Women in Executive Leadership in IDX200 Companies: Insights, Trends, and the Role of ESG Reporting event, held at the Indonesia Stock Exchange Main Hall on 15 June 2026. As part of the census process, EMTEK participated earlier this year by submitting data covering the 2022&ndash;2025 period, including employee and managerial composition, internal policies affecting gender representation, and Board of Directors composition.
This recognition reaffirms EMTEK&rsquo;s commitment to inclusive leadership, equal opportunity, and transparent sustainability disclosure. Based on the census data submitted by EMTEK, the Company maintained a gender-balanced Board of Directors throughout the 2022&ndash;2025 period, with women and men each representing 50% of Directors across those years. This reflects the important role of women in EMTEK&rsquo;s strategic leadership and management pipeline.
&ldquo;At EMTEK, gender balance is not only a recognition to be celebrated, but also a responsibility to be sustained. Receiving this recognition on behalf of EMTEK was a meaningful reminder that consistent disclosure must be supported by real leadership practices. As disclosed in EMTEK&rsquo;s 2025 Sustainability Report, women held 50% of EMTEK &rsquo;s Board of Directors positions and represented 54% of Division Head &ndash; one level below Director and 51% of managerial-level employees in 2025. We will continue to strengthen equal opportunities in recruitment, capability development, and career advancement, while progressing towards our target to increase women&rsquo;s representation in EMTEK&rdquo; said Grace Tobing, Head of Sustainability, EMTEK .
From Disclosure to Impact
The IDX and IBCWE event was held under the theme &ldquo;From Disclosure to Impact: Advancing Women&rsquo;s Leadership in IDX200 Companies&rdquo; and gathered more than 200 corporate leaders, regulators, and policymakers. The census analyzes the annual reports and sustainability reports of 200 listed companies with the largest market capitalization on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022&ndash;2025 period.
The initial findings showed that women accounted for only 164 of 1,094 Executive Leadership Team members, or around 15%, in IDX200 companies in 2025, broadly unchanged from 159 of 1,059 members in 2022. The number of IDX200 companies led by women CEOs was also limited to 11 companies in 2025. These findings underline the need for companies to strengthen gender reporting, measurable targets, leadership pipelines, and accountability within ESG and sustainability disclosure.
From a reporting perspective, Dr. Unang Mulkhan, Senior Business and Human Rights (BHR) and ESG Specialist, added, &ldquo;In my view, good gender reporting must be able to answer three questions: first, what is the current state of women&rsquo;s representation; second, how is the company building a pipeline of women leaders; and third, are there structural barriers that prevent women from reaching leadership positions? As long as these three questions remain unanswered, gender reporting is not yet truly meaningful.&rdquo;
Strengthening Meaningful Gender Reporting
For EMTEK, meaningful gender reporting goes beyond disclosing numbers. It also means demonstrating how policies, processes, and workplace culture support equal participation and advancement. EMTEK&rsquo;s policies and mechanisms support non-discrimination, equal pay for equal work, equal access to training and career development, fair treatment in recruitment, transfers, rotations and promotions, and confidential grievance handling for employee complaints.
The Company also continues to strengthen gender equality initiatives across recruitment, training, and career development, while promoting a safe and inclusive workplace free from harassment and discrimination. These efforts support EMTEK&rsquo;s broader commitment to building a leadership pipeline where opportunities are based on capability, contribution, and equal access.
Sustaining Inclusive Leadership and Long-Term Value
As a diversified business ecosystem spanning media, digital platforms, healthcare services, technology, and other supporting businesses, EMTEK believes that diverse leadership strengthens decision-making, innovation, and long-term value creation. The Company will continue to promote fair employment practices, equal development opportunities, and accountable sustainability reporting, while contributing to SDG 5: Gender Equality and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and also EMTEK WAVE, an initiative develop internally to promote women&rsquo;s participation and equality in workplace.
The recognition from IDX further encourages EMTEK to sustain its progress and continue advancing women&rsquo;s leadership across its governance, management, and broader business ecosystem.
