The Deputy Minister of Communication and Information of Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Nezar Patria, along with the Director General of Informatics Applications at Ministry of Communication and Information of Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Hokky Situngkir, were present to deliver keynote speeches. In their presentations, both Mr. Nezar and Mr. Hokky highlighted the substantial positive impact that AI could have on Indonesia's GDP, which is projected to reach $366 billion. They also stressed the importance of prioritizing information security in any AI development. To that end, they emphasized the necessity of establishing robust AI policy governance formulated by the Indonesian Government. This framework includes the National Strategy on Artificial Intelligence, the Circular Letter on Artificial Intelligence Ethics, Law No. 11 Year 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions and its amendments, Law No. 27 Year 2022 on Personal Data Protection, as well as various other derivative regulations.
During the discussion session, MASTEL featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Mr. Dominikus Susanto, Senior Manager of Business Development at Qualcomm; Mr. Dharma Simorangkir, President Director of Microsoft Indonesia; Mr. Patota Tambunan, Head of the Health Innovation Ecosystem at the Ministry of Health Indonesia; Ms. Farah Fitria Rahmayanti, Director of Digital Business at Perum PERURI; Mr. Hammam Riza, President of KORIKA; and Mr. Djarot Subiantoro, Chairman of MASTEL&rsquo;s National ICT Application Division. The presence of these experts is anticipated to significantly enrich the dialogue surrounding the development of the AI ecosystem and to address the challenges encountered in its implementation across various sectors.
With their diverse industry backgrounds, the speakers emphasized that AI is not merely a tool, but a reliable copilot for innovation. Every industry, regardless of size, has the potential to leverage AI to unlock new economic opportunities for Indonesia, as long as the technology is harnessed for its intended purpose. While the vast amount of data generated and shared online offers valuable insights for both governments and businesses in decision-making, the use of AI also poses risks, particularly concerning personal data breaches. Therefore, it is crucial for the government and AI developers to collaborate in formulating and implementing robust and effective regulations. This partnership will ensure that the data utilized and accessed serves the best interests of the Indonesian people.&nbsp;

RSGK was established in 1990. In 2021, RSGK conducted an Initial Public Offering and was listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with ticker code RSGK. Grha Kedoya Hospital is operated directly by RSGK, while Grha MM2100 Hospital is operated through PT Sinar Medika Sejahtera (&ldquo;SMS&rdquo;) by employing various experienced specialists.
The two hospitals owned by RSGK have obtained national accreditation from KARS of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and specifically for Grha Kedoya Hospital has obtained JCI Accreditation, namely international hospital quality and service accreditation standards.
